Today my collector friend Ad Gevers and his wife came over for a short holiday visit. During the first cup of coffee he spotted my just arrived "BAGGERMODELLE" and we had a little dog fight to decide who would be the first to read the latest news in this unique full color magazine.

NEWS FLASH! First "CSVT" meeting great succes!

Today the first "CSVT" meeting in The Netherlands was held at a secret location. A small group of selected members did meet for the kick off.

Hosted by Mrs M.G. where present A.M., A.G., H. v. D., W.M., J.P., G.'tV., R.vd H. Absent due missions abroad where P.S and P.G. T.W. also staying in a foreign country was able to send a video message by computer.  

Some news will be published to the public other news will stay classified and never be revealed....    

They did a review on the recently released Caterpillar D25D Dumper and did speak about the Caterpillar 527 Tracked Sikdder, both made by CYPmodels, which will appear at short notice.   

New projects where put to the stand and you just have to wait and see what will see the daylights.    

Finally all the members left home carying a small bag containing a secret powder? After the content is checked by the proper authorities it will be shown to the public on this BLOG.

Saturday evening starting at 7:00 pm DHS is helping to host the Ohio Museum of Transportation and Industry's kickoff event to tell the world about their new transportation museum concept "Celebrating America in Motion".

NEWS FLASH! Caterpillar 527 [CYPModels1:50]

Update on the latest CYPmodels project: Caterpillar 527 Tracked Skidder in scale 1:50.

This next knock out model will be available in very limited numbers for serious collectors only. There will be three different versions available: Swing boom, Fixed grapple and Winch.

After the first pictures CYPmodels made some adjustments.

Most important improvements: the front Blade has been cut to the correct 1:50 size versus 1:1 size. Sprocket wheel has more teeth [21 is maximum, should be 23 but that was not possible]

At this moment he his developing the photo etced parts. Different tracks are still under investigation. Waiting for more news if that will succeed aswell.

Packaging day! - Caterpillar D25D [Cypmodels 1:50]

My Caterpillar D25D Articulated Dumptruck from CypModels in 1:50th scale among with some more models and kits for some other Dutch friends arrived this week in Holland.

Models and KITS arrived in good order! Packaging is oke. Compliments. Very carefully and well done.

I unpacked my handbuild resin Caterpillar D25D build model. It looks great. Great detail and well done with painting / airbrush. I’m very pleased with the quality of the Cypmodel.

I hope that many Catepillar scale models will follow in the future.
