Saturday, March 22, 2014 the 23st Modelshow Europe was held in the flowerauction "Plantion" nearby the city Ede in the Netherlands.
On
this special exhibition one could see all kinds of miniatures and model
construction projects in the field of earthmoving, cranes and heavy
transport. This Modelshow Europe exhibition is unique by its grand
design and the only one in Europe.
Many collectors and builders showed on the Modelshow Europe their (rebuilt and/or radio controlled) models. Also a wide range of miniatures and related components for scale models where offered for sale.
Ad Gevers staffed with Richard van der Horst, Huub van Dijke (Bouwmachinesvantoen en Bouwmachinesvannu), Gertjan Veld and Jack Schrijen and Mini Movers again had a joint booth.
Our friends Carol & Judith Westerhoff and Henk Heuvelman where also present with their custom built Army models and had a special display for the new Bushmaster kit made by CypModels.
Tonkin Relicas,
for the first time attending the Modelshow Europe, showed two
never-before-seen Caterpillar scale models, namely the Caterpillar
MT4400D AC Mining Truck and the Caterpillar 994H Wheel Loader both in
1:50th scale.
This year there was a special promotion for the BAGGERMODELLE magazine. Each Visitor at Booth 226, 227 and 228 and received the special discount sticker for a considerable discount on their new subscription to this unique magazine for the collector of earthmoving and heavy haulage scale models.
