The Stichting BouwmachinesvanToen
was present at Vught, The Netherlands where during the weekend of 22th
and October 23th, 2016 the event “OP HERHALING” took place.
In 2016, twenty years ago, the military service was suspended in The Netherlands. "OP HERHALING" occurred around the Engineers Corps Museum and was organized by the Regiment Engineers and the foundation "Bravo Company" in collaboration with Military service "Koude Oorlog" VLGH, Badger, Bartje Cie and many others.
BouwmachinesvanToen gave demonstrations on the training ground with their Historic Engineers Corps equipment from the personal collection of Gilbert Ploegmakers and Niels Hoeke. Two unique days of action in the dirt with their Caterpillar D7 Track-Type Tractor, Caterpillar D8 Track-Type Tractor with a Le Tourneau aanhangscraper and Caterpillar HT4 Track-Type loader.
